Viva Google

About three months ago I blogged about the strategic mistakes the internet companies are making about banning iranian people from accessing resources and software applications which only leads to stop ordinary citizens to enjoy internet freedom which they already have a bitter taste of that. I also left some comments here and there (like on NVidia blog which has been removed - you can see the pictures on my post) to express the issue as well.
What Google has announced is very appriciating and quiet cool to see. I hope others will take this path as well. And again I should thank Microsoft about not getting into these banning plans ever.
Back again on Google, there are still resources they have packed to not to be seen by iranians like code.google.com or the Blog This! extension for google chrome. I can understand some thoughts behind restricting access to google code (for copyright issues not anything else) but the Blog This extension is obviously a  good way for sharing information and resources which needs to be taken care of.

Catastrophy

Watching "The Bing Bang Theory" was all I did today, except the afternoon nap though. Yes, I woke up like 9 o'clock, played an episode just before having a cup of coffee or even go to the bathroom.
Not to mention that I'm losing everything that was important to me once and this will take me to depression but during this "The Big Bang Theory" day I just envisioned something really important.

Play Play Play

It's so confusing to get to the kind of people who are hiding under many deffierent faces and excuses. Maybe that's now so clear in the first impressions, but when you encounter misunderstandings and some arguments take place and you try to dig deep the meanings of what somebody else says, you start to find out that there has been a game being played.

Unstoppable

... and you can't believe that, I'm hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh as a kite.
This happens alot that I loose the time synchronization and get involved to a string which also make me feel super-conscious.

The Music in Me

Every moment that I'm contained in, there is a totally parallel timeline that I live inside that as well. Sometimes the whole thing reproduces itself and I happen to be living different levels of consciousness or better to say semi-consciousness.
It's not quiet comfortable to be like that; it has its own pros and cons which I dont have the intention to explain them here (maybe I do later). To be honest

Blogging Obsession

This PostAday2011 thing is becoming an obsession for me! When I first saw the idea and felt the principle is accurately adjusts me, I thought WoW! Bingo! That’s it. That’s how I’m gonna act. But after 4 days I looked at myself looking here and there to find something to write about.
Although it’s working,

Fringe

Watching Fringe is a fun part of my time everyday. Makes me to fly my imaginations and sometimes daydream like a geek.
All the science in the background and things like parallel universes is quiet a fiction yet believable matter for me. It cheers me up and sometimes I use it as a catalyst for my own real scientific problems.
But on the other hand I always think of these chain of TV series as a turn point. From what I faced in LOST, Flashforward and recently Fringe

Happy New Year

It was always exciting to say the word. Really all the way down to my heart was getting bright when ever I say this. I don't know if this is because it makes the feeling of running away from all the shit happened or just it's the hope for all the good it may come.
Getting mature is somehow awful, you always know this new year will become just like the past one with some slight differences. But again you'll get cheered up by saying the phrase, Happy New Year!

Internet Freedom and the Jokes!

I live in a country in which people are used to see pages that say:
"Sorry dear beloved citizen! It's totally a very bad idea that you were trying to access the cursed site with the address you've mentioned in the address bar. We are sure that was a mistake and you've never meant to go to that bad bad place. We just showed you this page for your own good. Have fun surfing the net and facing this page again and again!"
BBC is blocked in Iran
You can see my country's version of that nice statement in the above picture. Anyway, we -who live in such countries are very used to these things everyday and we don't think about it at all. It seems nowadays people find their way in the jungle very quickly.

But, what lead to my frustration today was not this sign of "road to heaven". It was the many "Access Denied"s I've been getting in past days. I don't know if you could ever imagine what it feels when you see this:
Trying to Access www.nvidia.com
What does that suppose to mean. I've discussed the issue with many guys and gals in the field and all of them agreed on the matter of political sanctions as the basis of these "Permission Denied!" messages.

Let's take a deeper look at this process. A foreign state (U.S.) thinks Iran should be under control (I don't understand the meaning of this at all in some levels!) and therefore some things are forbidden for "some" of the iranian people (most of them are officials). Ok! I can understand when you think of some one as a threat you try to keep his hands away from your assets. Fine. But please think again here... If by any chance someone in a government wants to have access to an online resource available to the public (except the Iranians), damn he could do that. There are xillions of ways to that and the most important is that they have resources like money, people, leverages and etc...

So what really happens is that we (the poor citizens) are getting blocked everywhere and hit the walls again and again. What does freedom mean anyway?!

P.S.: You can see my comment on nvidia's website here.

Walls

It's hard to hit the walls all the time and survive. It just felt sad today when I was thinking about "me" getting used to this horrible fact and accepting it as a life style. I think I should think again.
Change just doesn't happen, it evolves by the minds of wise people. (Me :))
